A Journey of Growth, Learning, and Impact

When I reflect on my professional journey, I see a tapestry woven with experiences from diverse fields—corporate, academia, leadership, and mentorship. Each phase of my life has shaped who I am today, reinforcing my belief that learning is an ongoing process, and true success lies in adapting, evolving, and contributing to society.

From the Corporate World to the Classroom

My career began in the corporate sector after completing my postgraduate degree in management. Joining Target as an Executive Sales Auditor was my first major step into the professional world. This role was more than just numbers and reports; it was about understanding market dynamics, strategic decision-making, and the power of structured organizational frameworks. However, even amid the fast-paced corporate world, I felt an undeniable pull toward education—a desire to share knowledge and shape young minds.

This passion led me to transition into academia in 2010, starting my journey with Sikkim Manipal University. Bringing my industry experience into the classroom allowed me to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application. This shift was not just a career move—it was a calling.

Returning to Nepal: A Commitment to Education

In 2013, I returned to Nepal with a mission—to contribute to the country’s education sector and mentor future leaders. Over the years, I have had the privilege of teaching BBA and MBA students at institutions like Boston International College and Presidency College. These experiences were more than just lectures; they were interactive sessions designed to prepare students for the real world.

My role evolved further when I took on the responsibility of MBA Program Director at Presidency College, where I worked on curriculum development, academic administration, and student mentorship. Then, in 2018, I embarked on a new challenge—becoming the Principal of Ankuram Academy. This leadership role has been transformative, allowing me to implement my vision of holistic education that balances academic rigor with real-world exposure.

Continuous Learning and Global Exposure

Education, to me, is a lifelong pursuit. I have been fortunate to enhance my expertise through programs such as:

• Faculty Development Program (IIM Ahmedabad)
• Post Graduate Certificate in Human Resource Management (IIM Shillong)
• Case Study Workshop (IIM Rohtak)
• Entrepreneurship Course (IVEY Business School, Canada)

Beyond these certifications, I have also had the honor of delivering sessions at Ling Tung University, Taiwan, and serving as a keynote speaker at international conferences hosted by D.Y. Patil B School and Jawaharlal Business School. These global experiences have enriched my perspective and reaffirmed my belief that education is a powerful tool for transformation.

Public Speaking, Mentorship, and Thought Leadership

My passion for sharing knowledge extends beyond the classroom. Over the years, I have had the privilege of hosting and moderating sessions with some of Nepal’s most distinguished personalities, including:

• Mr. Binod Chaudhary (Nepal’s only billionaire) – Hosting a discussion on entrepreneurship and business leadership at NYEF Chitwan.
• Saurabh Jyoti (Respected business leader) – Facilitating an engaging learning session on business innovation.
• Dr. Sanduk Ruit (World-renowned ophthalmologist) – Moderating a session on his groundbreaking work in restoring vision globally.

In addition, I have served as a judge for the Hult Prize competition at Boston International College, evaluating innovative business ideas and mentoring young entrepreneurs. These experiences have been deeply fulfilling, allowing me to guide aspiring leaders and foster an environment of creativity and impact.

Beyond Academia: My Passion for Life

While my professional journey has been intense and rewarding, I also believe in a well-rounded life. I have a deep appreciation for nature, sports, and music, which serve as sources of inspiration and balance. Whether it’s exploring the outdoors, engaging in a sporting event, or immersing myself in music, these experiences fuel my creativity and keep me grounded.
