Mr. Suman Poudel's career trajectory is a testament to the power of versatility and lifelong learning, as he has seamlessly navigated the realms of corporate and academic excellence. After completing his postgraduate degree in management, Mr. Poudel embarked on his professional journey, joining the ranks of the renowned multinational company "Target" as an executive sales auditor, where he honed his skills and gained invaluable experience in the corporate world. However, Mr. Poudel's thirst for knowledge and passion for education led him to transition into the academic realm, and in 2010, he began his academic career with Sikkim Manipal University, bringing his wealth of practical experience to the classroom.
Driven by his unwavering commitment to education, Mr. Poudel later returned to Nepal in 2013, where he has since accumulated extensive experience in management education, delivering lectures to both BBA and MBA students at prestigious institutions such as Boston International College and Presidency College. Moreover, Mr. Poudel's academic prowess extends beyond the classroom, as he has served as the MBA Program Director at Presidency College, further showcasing his versatility and leadership abilities. Since 2018 he is serving as a Principal of Ankuram Academy.
Recognizing the importance of continuous learning and professional development, Mr. Poudel has taken advantage of various opportunities to enhance his expertise, including completing an FDP (IIM Ahmedabad), a PGCHRM (IIM Shillong), a workshop on case studies (IIM Rohtak), and an entrepreneurship course from IVEY University in Canada. Mr. Poudel's academic achievements have also gained him recognition on the international stage, as he was given the opportunity in 2018 to deliver sessions at Ling Tung University in Taiwan, further solidifying his reputation as a thought leader in the field of management education. He believes that education is a fine blend of study and exposure that makes the students aware of what they are learning. He has been a keynote speaker for two international conferences conducted by D.Y. Patil B School & Jawaharlal Business School. While Mr. Poudel's academic accomplishments are undoubtedly impressive, he is also a well-rounded individual with a deep appreciation for nature and a passion for sports and music.

I have had the privilege of sharing the stage with some of Nepal’s most distinguished personalities, demonstrating my ability to engage audiences and lead high-profile discussions.
- Master of Ceremony at NYEF Chitwan when Nepal’s only billionaire, Mr. Binod Chaudhary, graced the event. Hosting this session allowed me to facilitate a thought-provoking dialogue, drawing insights from his entrepreneurial journey and vision.
- Master of Ceremony during a learning session with Saurabh Jyoti, a respected business leader, where I ensured a dynamic and insightful discussion, making complex business ideas accessible to the audience.
- Moderator for a session with the world-renowned ophthalmologist Dr. Sanduk Ruit, facilitating a conversation that highlighted his pioneering work in eye care and global impact in restoring vision.
I have had the honor of serving as a college-level judge for the Hult Prize at Boston International College on two occasions. The Hult Prize, often referred to as the “Nobel Prize for students,” is one of the world’s most prestigious social entrepreneurship competitions, challenging young minds to develop innovative business solutions to global challenges.
In this role, I evaluated business ideas, assessed their feasibility and impact, and provided constructive feedback to student entrepreneurs. Beyond judging, I actively mentored participants, helping them refine their business models, enhance their presentation skills, and align their ideas with real-world applications. This experience allowed me to engage with some of the brightest young innovators and contribute to shaping the next generation of social entrepreneurs.
